The Dolwyddelan Sheep Dog Trials are held annually on the second or third weekend in September at Ty Isaf Farm. There are three classes for competitors…. 

• • Local Class – open to anyone who is born or living in the parish.
  • Open Class – open for anyone to compete (This class usually runs through Saturday with some 60 to 80 dogs competing).
  • Second Class – for dogs who have not won a prize in the Open Class.
