Pride of Conwy Community Awards
Conwy County Borough Council has hosted its first Pride of Conwy Community Awards to recognise the work and projects in Conwy that benefit the Community.
Said Cllr Ronnie Hughes, Cabinet Business Manager, “We wanted to acknowledge the tremendous work that goes on in communities and the commitment that people have to improving the places where they live. These Awards were a wonderful opportunity for people to get the recognition they deserve.”
Council Leader, Cllr Dilwyn Roberts congratulated the winners and thanked everyone who had taken the time to nominate. “To me, everyone was a winner, and I’m proud to be the Leader of Conwy because I know how passionate people are about making a difference and making sure that we all continue to live in such a wonderful area,” he said.
