Located in the picturesque village of Dolwyddelan is our Community Pavilion which is available to hire.  It’s intimate size and idyllic location makes it an ideal venue for meetings, presentations, courses, children’s parties, coffee mornings and more.

Wi-Fi is available throughout with IT facilities, video conferencing equipment, photocopying and projector available upon request.

A small kitchen is available with limited catering facilities including a Baby Belling oven, microwave, water boiler, fridge and sink.

Y Ganolfan - Community Centre

Dolwyddelan Ganolfan Hall Hire - The Ganolfan / Community Centre is situated in Dolwyddelan School and is perfect for children's parties, exercise classes, family reunions and group events to name but a few.

Facilities include a large hall with stage area, table and chairs with a separate small newly refurbished kitchen equipped with tea / coffee making facilities and plenty of crockery and cutlery. There is also space for 20 plus cars in an adjoining car park.

Marquee

This Marquee tent is manufactured from weather resistant white powder coated steel (38mm roof and leg bars, 42mm steel joints), lock fix steel joints and white powder coated steel base plates, which can be pegged or bolted to both soft or hard standing areas, (ground pegs and guy ropes supplied).

The cover is made from heavy duty 180g/sm. P.E (Polyethylene), (plastic to the touch) it is tough, durable, waterproof, rot proof and U.V. resistant, all attachments are fitted with heavy-duty metal eyelets. As with all our commercial grade marquees, this tent has an added ground skirt to give greater weather protection from wind and water ingress along the tent base. Incorporates P.V.C., classic church style windowpane design. Wide heavy duty zippered front and smaller zippered rear doors can be rolled open or zipped closed, to offer dual access or total enclosure. The sidewalls and door panels attach using heavy-duty bungee straps and can be individually omitted to allow multi configuration and versatile usage. Holds approximately 60 standing people auditorium style or 30 people seated with a table.

This marquee provides a strong weather resistant structure and is designed to cater for all events and occasions, both commercial and domestic. Easily and speedily erected (2 people minimum, 4 recommended and a stepladder), instructions enclosed. 

Inside the Marquee 

There is a charge of £50 to hire the marquee for up to 48 hours with an additional £50 required as a deposit which is non refundable if the marquee suffers damage during your care.

Please remember you will need to collect, erect and return the marquee!

Please note that hire of the Marquee may be refused if the weather forecast for the intended location is severe.

 Golf

Situated on the School sports field next to the primary school and Community Pavilion is the new Golf Chip and Putt practice area funded by the Ryder Legacy Cup Wales. The practice area consists of a practice putting green with 4 tees and 4 chip areas towards a green with 2 tees.

Golf 

Equipment is available to hire upon request at a reasonable price from the Community Pavilion (there are contact details on the door should the Pavilion be closed) or bring your own. The Golf equipment available is suitable for the very young (Tri Golf) right through up to adult clubs, both left and right handed.

It is an ideal practice and learning area for adults and children alike.

Tennis

Situated on the School yard are 2 tennis courts which are available for community and visitor use outside of school hours.

Please note that the tennis nets are stored during the winter months and are not available.
